Ongoing Events:
16th & Mission Open Mic. San Francisco's premier outdoor, anarchic open forum for performing artists: musicians, poets, emcees, comics...and anything unique. Rain or shine every Thursday at 10:00pm, southwest corner of 16th & Mission.
The New Sensationist Reading Series/Open Mic. Occurs on the last Tuesday of every month at Bollyhood cafe: 3372 19th Street San Francisco, between Mission and Capp.
There are features starting at 8, and then an open mic following. Experimental.
The Guinevere Variety Show. Every 2nd and 4th Sunday at Viracocha, 998 Valencia St. San Francisco, CA. Underground, featured performances by poets, musicians, and other artists.
New Camelot Poets. Open mic poetry (and music) every fourth Thursday at Taste of Rome, 1000 Bridgeway Sausalito, CA.
Sunset Poetry By The Bay. Poetry readings every third Wednesday at Studio 333, 333 Caledonia St. Sausalito, CA.
Sacred Grounds Café. Poetry open mics every Wednesday. 7:30-10 pm. 2095 Hayes St., San Francisco The longest running open mic for Poetry Readings in San Francisco.
